No matter where you choose to go - be it a visit to the Dinopark or to follow the Giant Mountains Fairy-Tale Trail - all trips with your children in Malá Úpa will be an amazing experience. Family outings are a unique opportunity to spend a delightful day in a lovely setting with your children, who we frequently don't get to see as often as we would like due to our workload. Come and stay with us at the Permoník Guesthouse and discover our surroundings. Trips with children are a great way to experience not only Malá Úpa.
A walking tour through Malá Úpa with 10 stops in the course of the permanent fairy-tale exhibition written by the famous author Marie Kubátová. On this tour you will find wooden panels with fairy-tales together with a jungle gym for kids, where you as parents can relax and let your little ones monkey around for a bit. Every stop has a hidden plastic ornament which you can trace into a booklet using a pencil - these booklets and a map with a description of the route are available for a small fee in the information centre in Pomezní boudy. The target of your journey is to collect all ornaments from all fairy-tales for which you will receive a prize – the penny of Malá Úpa, which you can pick up also in the information centre or in our guesthouse.
15 km from the Permoník Guesthouse you will find the newly opened amazing "Kid Park LEMURIE" with a modern bobsled run. You can also try out the Rope Climbing Centre - "Monkey Park", which is approx. 400 m long with 27 obstacles. Although certain parts of this course are 6 metres high above the ground, this activity is absolutely safe and children-friendly.

The Polish city of Karpacz boasts a broad variety of tourist attractions and you should not miss out on a visit during your stay at the guesthouse. It is located at the opposite side of the Sněžka Mountain, a stone's throw from us. It can be comfortably reached by car, the trip takes around 30 minutes (25 km).
You can also pleasantly pass the time in the WESTERN CITY "Pod Kozí skálou" (Under the Goat Cliff), which is located between Karpacz and Sciegny. The Wild West atmosphere will enchant you and with a bit of luck you'll also get to see a real sheriff and witness one of the following performances: "bank robbery" or "attack of the Indians".

City Museum of Toys. The museum's collection includes over two thousand pieces, which were donated to the museum mainly by Henryk Tomaszewski – founder of the famous Vratislav pantomime.

In the hot summer days you can cool down at the wild waterfall next to the lower stop of the chair lift to Kopa.

30 km from the Permoník Guesthouse you will find two new and beautiful water worlds for kids and adults - in Hotel Sandra and the Goliebiewski Hotel.
Both young and older visitors to the Krakonoš Cottage will be smitten by the amazing Devil's Mill and the life-size statue of Krakonoš. In the summer months you can buy refreshments at this cottage, which is located not far from Spálený Mlýn in Dolní Malá Úpa – just follow the yellow tourist trail marking.
